We collect information from you when you enter a horse show, create an account, subscribe to our e-blasts, or use the website. When entering a show or creating an account, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address or phone number, as well as information about the horse, rider, and trainer required to complete your show entry.

The information on the horse, rider and trainer as well as other entry information (e.g., stabling requests, classes entered), is used to create an electronic entry into the horse show you enter. This information is provided to the show organizer, show manager, and/or show secretary.

Payment information is done online via PayPal. No online payment information is requested or retained by ESS. ESS will never ask for any credit card or other financial information from any user via the website or through email.

We also collect information on your use of the site that may be used to personalize your experience, to improve our website, to improve customer service, to process transactions, to verify your the credentials with US Dressage Federation, US Equestrian Federation, and other affiliated organizations, and to provide support to the show related to your entry.

Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company other than as described above.

The email address you provide may be used to send you information including about current and upcoming shows, respond to inquiries, and/or seek additional information required to process your entry into the show. The cell phone number and cell carrier you provide may be used to send score texting and show announcement texting during shows.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter a show or enter, submit, or access your personal information. We use a secure server at a large commercial datacenter. All supplied sensitive data is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and is only accessible by those authorized with special access rights to our systems.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
